Some tracks from somewhere – an improvised podcast on improvisation.

Concept for a podcast that uses musical improvisation as a starting point to examine the idea
of improvisation as a general approach to live.
The basic idea for this format is inspired by a podcast project by Moritz Klenk, who produced a
daily podcast called “podlog” for one year while doing his doctorate on media theory and change
of media in 2017. Starting as a format to aurally sketch down thoughts from his daily (academical)
live, over the year, the focus of his reflections shifted to what he calls: talking thinking
(sprechendes Denken).

Every episode of some tracks from somewhere shall be a talking-thinking-reflection that has a
certain idea or question from the spectrum of improvisation as a starting point. From there it freely
wanders to fields that can´t be foreseen.
Ideas that are found in the reflections, can instantly be applied in sound experiments which then
can be subject of further reflections.
